Clear glass containers can be reused as tea light holders. A cute Christmas mug stuffed with hot cocoa, mini marshmallows and candy canes is a yummy gift to give during the holidays. A fancy bottle of wine paired with a set of wine glasses is sure to be a hit for a bridal shower gift. To prevent skin burns, use heat-resistant gloves or potholders when handling the melting pot, hot containers, or heated equipment. Skin that comes in contact with heated wax should have cold water applied to it immediately and the wax should be peeled off. The wax should take up to 45 minutes to fully cool and solidify in the jar. Make sure the jar does not get bumped or moved around while it is cooling, this will shift the shape of the candle. To cut down on the cooling time, the jars can be placed in the refrigerator.

Give a salute to your friend by gathering unique items for a celebratory gift basket. Include a devotional, Bible study, or even a Bible in the gift basket with the candle. You may include a couple of champagne flutes as well. Some of your friends would probably not be disappointed to receive a gift basket that has a couple of chilled IPAs instead. I love the rich caramel color that this has when it is melted and am glad that it still maintains a hint of that in once cooled. I love how natural these look, and because of how inexpensive and easy they are to make you could throw them out after one use and make more without it hurting your pockets.
I’m not sure why this never really crossed my mind before. I have little ones (5-year-old twins), and making craft presents for the adults in our lives, from the kids , is something we do all. And I knew I wanted to do a post on this – for y’all, for sure – but for me! Because this was now going to become ‘a thing’ for me and my sisters.
